Alisa Santucci – a leading expert in child welfare, human trafficking, and at-risk youth – develops policy and practice recommendations and provides management and direction for highly visible federal, state, and local programs focused on vulnerable populations.

Santucci, for example, provides technical assistance to HUD’s Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program grantees and applicants who are designing and implementing systems to end youth homelessness.

Prior to joining Abt, Santucci was a principal at ICF International, providing senior level guidance to government agencies, including the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children, Youth and Families, Children’s Bureau, and at the U.S. State Department she provided technical assistance to the U.S. Advisory Council on Human Trafficking.

Santucci is a licensed therapist and holds a Master’s degree in Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University, a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology from Rider University, and a Post Master’s Certificate in Military Veteran’s Behavioral Health from Widener University.
