Andrew Stoeckle

Vice President, Environment & Resources

Andrew Stoeckle joined Abt Associates in 1984 and is responsible for managing an interdisciplinary team of engineers, programmers, and analytical staff in Cambridge and Bethesda.

Stoeckle's most recent work has focused on improving access to and use of complex environmental information, building Internet-based analytical tools, and designing analytical approaches for a range of decision-making and priority-setting purposes.

Prior to joining Abt Associates, Stoeckle worked for the U.S. Congressional Budget Office. He works to marry the company’s policy and program expertise with innovative e-Government approaches that foster information-based decision-making and management, increasing efficiency, and improving outcomes of governmental programs. He is a leader in using IT to develop educational and analytical tools to reach hundreds of thousands of public, industry, government, and commercial users.

Stoeckle holds a B.S. in Biology from Stanford University and an M.S. in Environmental Health Management from the Harvard School of Public Health.
