Carol Adoum

Vice President, International Economic Growth

Carol M. Adoum has 30 years of experience in international development, beginning with a Peace Corps assignment in Chad. Her expertise includes project and program management; human resources development and training; business skills transfer; policy analysis and implementation; and agribusiness marketing, technical assistance, and research.

Adoum has been a senior manager with the company since 1996. She has supervised a diverse home office and field staff with responsibility for planning, compliance with government policies and procedures, marketing and proposal management, and the financial and technical health of the company’s international economic growth projects.

Prior to joining Abt Associates, Adoum held positions with USAID, Peace Corps, and as a consultant to a variety of international development companies.

Adoum received a B.A. in Anthropology from Pennsylvania State University and an M.B.A. from the University of Maryland.
