Paul Reinke, Ph.D.
Paul Reinke, Ph.D., leads the Environment and Resources division’s climate change work. Through more than two decades of consulting in Washington, D.C., Reinke has supported environmental programs for many different defense and civilian agencies, including the departments of Energy and Defense, General Accounting Office, Environmental Protection Agency, and National Institutes of Health.
Before joining Abt Associates, he managed the climate change and energy lines of business for Noblis, Inc. He has also led client delivery services to the Army Environmental Center for Booz Allen Hamilton, and managed multidisciplinary teams in high-end military technical and policy support activities in conservation, cleanup, compliance, defense base closure and realignment, and environmental technology at Tetratech, Inc.
He chairs the Energy Security Committee of the National Defense Industrial Association, and is active in industry associations, including the American Council on Renewable Energy and the Association of Climate Change Officers.
Reinke holds a B.A. in Economics and History from the University of Wisconsin and an M.A. in Russian History and a Ph.D. in Educational Policy Studies from the University of Illinois.
