This one-hour webinar – sponsored by Abt Associates’ Qualitative Methods Center as well as QSR, developers of data analysis software – will examine how the Ethiopia Federal Ministry of Health is using NVivo software to strengthen its capacity for monitoring, evaluation, and research. The ministry has been a part of a global move towards country ownership over development processes, and it aims to lead evaluations of its own national health policies and programs. Abt trained ministry staff in QSR’s NVivo software in order to augment evaluators’ qualitative research skills and reduce reliance on international experts for data analysis.
