Abt Associates participated in 10 presentations at the American Association of Public Opinion Research (AAPOR) 2018 annual conference, one of the premier forums for the advancement of public opinion and survey research, May 16-19.

The Abt presentations addressed a wide range of topics, from assessing bias in registration-based samples to using emojis in surveys to youths and teens to natural language processing.

“We are in a period of rapidly changing methodology for public opinion and survey research, which presents both challenges and opportunities,” said Michael Link, Abt division vice president for Data Science, Surveys, and Enabling Technologies. “We at Abt are riding this wave of change and carry out ever-improving and more informative research.”
