2019 Annual Conference of the SID-W Chapter

Abt’s Gabriel Krieshok was selected to give a Lightning Talk on an innovative, user-friendly smart phone application developed by our team of data scientists. The app, a mosquito egg counting tool, automates what is normally a laborious, eye-straining process that takes experts away from the important work of fighting vector-borne diseases. It allows for the counting of eggs in seconds, giving researchers time to analyze the data and prevent vector-borne disease such as Zika. Learn more about Abt’s work in Digital Transformations.
