2019 Forum to Advance Women’s Leadership in the Global Development Sector

Abt Associates is proud to sponsor the 2019 Forum to Advance Women’s Leadership in the Global Development, hosted by the WILD Network. The forum is the event for women’s leadership, diversity and inclusion for the global development sector, and brings together over 350 leaders working to deepen their individual skills and build a culture of inclusive leadership within their organizations.

Ann-Marie Slaughter, President & CEO, New America and member of Abt’s Board of Directors will deliver the keynote address, “Leadership Lessons from a Sixty-Year-Old Entrepreneur.” Abt’s CEO and President, Kathleen Flanagan, will provide introductory remarks.

Lisa Tarantino, principal associate at Abt, will lead a roundtable discussion entitled, “Navigating the Rapids: Women Leaders in Multicultural Environments” in which she will provide six leadership techniques for women in multicultural environments and how to avoid pitfalls and adapt your leadership style to different cultural contexts with integrity.

Jay Knott, Chief Business Officer at Abt, will deliver closing remarks.
