Nadia Scharen-Guivel, principal associate at Abt Associates, will present at the upcoming Global Methane Forum on behalf of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The event brings together methane experts and policy-makers from around the world to talk emissions reduction and abatement activities. The forum is organized by the Global Methane Initiative, the Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC), and the Government of Canada.

Solid Waste Management Projects: Assessing Financial “Readiness” for Municipalities

This presentation will look at how cities can evaluate and improve their financial readiness for capital investments in the waste sector by using the CCAC Municipal Solid Waste Initiative’s financial readiness checklist. This checklist was developed by the U.S. EPA on behalf of the initiative, with support from Abt Associates.
