In light of the changing public health situation around COVID-19, the event organizers decided to cancel the DHIS2 Symposium.

Abt Associates is a proud platinum level sponsor of the 2020 DHIS2 Symposium, a two-day event that brings together experts from global development agencies, governments, and non-governmental organizations to share the latest insights on using data to inform decision-making that will have impact. The event will highlight creative uses of District Health Information Software (DHIS) 2 to solve common challenges in collecting, managing, visualizing, and most importantly, using data. This year’s program will focus on integrated analytics.

Stop by our booth to learn more about our work in integrated analytics.

Abt staff will participate in the following activities:

March 20, 3:00 - 3:45 p.m. | Vistaroom
Breakout Session: Large Scale, Quick Turnaround: Verifying & Using Data in DHIS2 With an Emphasis on Timeliness
Your team has 30 days to reach 500,000 households with a life-saving intervention. How can you ensure that your program is on track? We will explore examples from PMI VectorLink countries where we use data for real-time decision-making to guide Indoor Residual Spraying campaigns for malaria prevention. We will discuss how we examine DHIS2 data to understand implementation progress and coverage at a granular level for day-to-day operational decision-making. By integrating multiple data streams, we will demonstrate how we use built-in analytics to enhance data quality and investigate discrepancies in a timely manner to inform programmatic needs.
Presenters: Jillian Berkowitz, Lilly Siems, Abt Associates
