Webinar 9/21: Meet NVivo: Conducting Integrated Mixed Methods Research and Analyses Using NVivo

Abt’s Lisa LeRoy, a principal associate, and Anna Jefferson, an associate, are participating in a webinar with Stuart Robertson, owner of Robertson Educational Resources. The webinar will discuss strategies to integrate qualitative and quantitative data in mixed methods research and evaluation using software.
They'll begin with a brief overview of the different types of mixed methods research, the strengths and weaknesses of each, and will discuss a case study, “Understanding Consumers’ Experiences with Financial Protection Services” that supplemented focus groups with survey data. The speakers will demonstrate how the case study data actually was combined using NVivo. There will also be a demonstration of how NVivo handles combining qualitative and quantitative data and how specific analytical techniques (e.g. matrices and bar charts) can be used on any project to synthesize and summarize mixed methods data.
