The Importance of Integrating NTDs Into National Health Systems

Abt Global is part of a consortium led by Crown Agents to implement the UKAid-funded Ascend Lot 1 program: Accelerating the Sustainable Control and Elimination of Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs). The program focuses on five NTDs and works in 11 countries in East and Southern Africa and South Asia. Ascend strengthens building blocks of national health systems, from supply chain management to disease detection and surveillance systems, to achieve sustainable outcomes.
