The USAID-funded Health Systems Strengthening Project (HSSP) is implemented by Abt Global and partners with the desired program result of improving the institutional capacity of two State Ministries of Health and the sixteen County Health Departments (CHD) in Central Equatoria State (CES) and Western Equatoria State (WES) to manage and coordinate health service delivery. The coordination component of the project is aimed at avoiding duplication of efforts, ensuring harmonized planning and efficient use of scarce resources among partners.
