Abt Global completed a research project that explored homelessness and opioid use disorder (OUD), along with the evidence base for different models for care. Conducted for the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation (ASPE), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the study included a literature review and identified a number of strategies that were important to building successful housing models to support clients in their path to recovery. Gaps in the research literature were also identified.
