The Massachusetts Expanded Learning Time (ELT) initiative is an effort by the Commonwealth to offer children new learning and enrichment opportunities made possible through an expanded school schedule. Information about how schools allocated time to school schedules is the focus of this brief.  Here lessons learned from the experiences of both ELT and other schools are described.
