Final Designs for Lake Managua Water Level Control Structures and Improvements of the Pluvial Drainage for the City of Managua (Nicaragua)


This project provides the final designs for the control of the water level of Lake Managua with the construction of an overflow channel under the Pan-American Highway.  In addition, the project provides the final designs for the pluvial drainage improvements as components of the sanitation and flood protection programs for the shorefront of Managua.  The project design followed the general guidelines under the environmental impact assessment for the Management Program of the Lake Managua Watershed.
