Good health requires nutritious food, informed choices and income to buy a variety of foods. Behavior change communication is key—but not enough. Availability of enough nourishing and safe food also is critical. Abt works on both fronts to help improve peoples’ diets. We implement behavior change strategies. And to reduce food loss from toxins and spoilage, we harness harvest and storage technologies, risk assessments, analyses of food control systems, and policy roadmaps.
