Homeless encampments should not be evicted during coronavirus outbreak, CDC says

WTOP News: A new article addresses the current state of housing encampments in major cities amid the COVID-19 pandemic, and whether or not they should be eliminated for safety. Abt housing expert Jill Khadduri is quoted as saying that while in normal times housing encampments are not sanitary places to live, the COVID-19 virus has brought unusual circumstances that justify health policymakers' decision to keep the encampments open.
