Minneapolis Org Looks to Communities of Faith to Tackle Homelessness

In a new article, Abt’s Brooke Spellman stresses the importance of “gauging interest” in Minneapolis organization Settled’s mobile home idea from the homeless population themselves. Spellman also emphasizes that there are factors contributing to homelessness other than low income and poverty. Mental illness and racial discrimination are just two examples of issues that should be considered when crafting homelessness solutions.
