Stormont Vail Health joins CDC Opioid Quality Improvement Collaborative
THE TOPEKA CAPITAL JOURNAL: Abt expanded the Opioid Quality Improvement Collaborative launched to include a second cohort of healthcare systems; the systems participating in the Collaborative will benefit from several resources and opportunities for shared learning. This article highlights the participation of Stormont Vail Health, a nonprofit integrated health system in Topeka, Kan. that has joined the Collaborative. Funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Collaborative will help implement the CDC’s Guideline for Prescribing Opioids for Chronic Pain.
