Abt Earns Position on New $250M HHS Contract Evaluation Health Programs and Public Policy
Rockville, Md. – Abt Associates will have an opportunity to work on a new iteration of a five-year, $250 million contract with the Department of Health and Human Services’ Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). This contract gives the Abt the opportunity to bid on task orders assessing the agency’s impact on public health programming and policy through technical evaluations. Abt held a position on the previous contract.
Through this new contract, Abt will conduct focused, high-priority evaluation activities in support of various Bureaus and Offices within HRSA. Abt’s evaluation studies will address several HRSA task areas, including:
- Contextual/policy analyses of issues impacting HRSA-supported activities such as treatment of people with HIV, maternal and child health programs and policies, and community health centers and workforce development.
- Providing communications around evaluation studies, evaluation-related services and policy-related findings.
- Analyzing the implementation of best practices.
- Data collection, analysis and preparation for evaluations.
