Chief of Party, Local Health System Sustainability (LHSS) Project, Madagascar

Sarindra Ramanitrivonony is a project manager with expertise in sustainable development and private sector engagement. With more than 15 years of experience in economic, social, and environmental domains, her background includes project design and management in sectors such as health, agribusiness, mining, and rural development.

In her role with the Local Health System Sustainability project, Ramanitrivonony supports the achievement of universal health coverage (UHC) goals. By leveraging her strong experience in transition and sustainability approach, she is helping the local UHC department to collaborate, develop, and lead planning and implementation processes at the country level.

Previously, Ramanitrivonony was Chief of Party for the Sustaining Health Outcomes through the Private Sector Plus project in Madagascar led by Abt Associates. In this role, she strongly supported key private and public players to raise private sector visibility to integrate it into the health system in Madagascar. Prior to her work at Abt Associates, Ramanitrivonony supported many partners in designing development and partnership strategies. This included developing implementation plans and conducting more than 30 value chain studies for rural investment and entrepreneurship.
