Jerry Stedge is a seasoned leader with more than 25 years of experience helping clients meet their natural resource management challenges.
As the director of Abt Associates’ Natural Resources Practice, Stedge is responsible for business development and project delivery. He also oversees Abt’s performance on several multimillion-dollar mission support contracts with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and Department of Homeland Security.
In addition to his leadership responsibilities, Stedge is a trusted advisor to clients. His advisory work focuses on applying economics to make better water resource management decisions. His consulting assignments have ranged from helping the Corps of Engineers use private-public partnerships to better deliver and maintain the nation’s water resource infrastructure to developing SafeWater CBX, a model to estimate the costs and benefits of EPA’s drinking water standards.
In addition to knowledge of water resource issues and economics, Stedge has extensive experience in developing economic/environmental simulation models and in conducting operations research and statistical analyses.
