Damodaran, Ph.D.

Vice President and Principal Associate, Health & Environment

Nimmi Damodaran has more than 25 years of experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis, focusing primarily on environmental policy issues. Her current research interests are the mitigation of short-lived climate pollutants (SLCPs), such as black carbon, methane and hydrofluorocarbons from various sectors, including municipal solid waste, brick kiln, transportation and residential. Her methodological expertise covers economic, statistical and decision analyses.

Formerly, Damodaran was a project manager at Princeton Energy Resources International, a senior energy and environmental analyst at DynCorp I&ET, and a lecturer at Cornell University, where she taught economics and statistics. She has presented talks at international conferences and meetings on solid waste, global methane emissions, SLCPs and risk analysis.
