Julie Sabol started her career in advertising and product placement for Macy's. After a few years in the commercial market, she began her 20-year career in designing social marketing campaigns, public health education materials, and consumer advocacy programs for the federal government.  A hallmark of her expertise, Ms. Sabol brings a blend of strategic thinking, evidence-based insights, and target audience positioning to develop memorable and actionable campaigns and products. She is a seasoned creative director responsible for developing communications plans and partnership strategies and creating digital products to support community outreach, stakeholder engagement, branding, and promotional activities.

For over a decade, she developed messages geared to at-risk youth and teens about the dangers of underage drinking for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, and the National Institute on Drug Abuse.  Ms. Sabol has designed and led curriculum to support a variety of public health programs focused on the prevention of prescription drug abuse, alcohol and drug addiction, older adult falls, and suicide. In recent years, she has worked on global programs focused on the prevention of mosquito-borne diseases and homelessness as well as promoting environmental sustainability and more affordable housing programs nationwide.

From her earlier days of developing traditional pamphlets to today's digital world of video clips and custom animation, she has created communications packages adapted for a variety of diverse populations using traditional media and grass roots or viral marketing techniques.  Ms. Sabol has earned marketing awards for several creative endeavors and continues to leverage her connections in research and behavioral science to create social marketing campaigns that engage, inspire, and change behaviors.
