Global Development Group, Inclusive Economic Opportunities

Stephanie Landers Silva is an international inclusive economic growth and agriculture specialist, with over 10 years of experience in strategic advisory services, research, program design, and project management. She has focused on strengthening economic opportunities and advancing sustainable development through private sector engagement and cross-sector partnerships. Landers Silva has worked with organizations across sectors—including businesses, industry associations, producer cooperatives, and government agencies. Her work has spanned the globe but has generally focused on Latin America, Sub-Saharan Africa, and South and Southeast Asia.

As co-director of Abt’s Equity Center, Landers Silva helps project and proposal teams in the global development portfolio integrate equity into their work. She also co-leads a community of practice focused on equity in global development and provides support to Abt’s equity-focused capacity building and communications efforts. In addition to the Equity Center, Landers Silva supports program design for clients in agriculture, economic growth, and gender equality and social inclusion.

Landers Silva also serves on the Board of The Chain Collaborative (TCC), a non-profit organization that builds relationships with local leaders in coffee-growing regions, cultivates their project design and management skills, and fosters the development of their farming enterprises. TCC’s goal is to help communities combat intergenerational poverty and marginalization on their own terms.

Previously, Landers Silva provided technical advisory services to USAID, multinational corporations, businesses in emerging markets, and industry associations on cross-sector collaboration, market development, export promotion, and gender equity. She also served as both Consulting Team Lead for Latin America and as Global Project Manager for Euromonitor, a strategic business intelligence and market analysis firm. There, she helped businesses, associations, and governments anticipate industry, economic, and consumer trends to lead disruptive change in developing and emerging markets.
