We are all in this together, and there is no better proof of this sentiment than the continued operations of our summer internship program. Our interns are an essential part of the work we do every summer, and we have built a strong infrastructure that affords us the ability to continue our program in a completely virtual setting.  Our inaugural 2020 virtual internship program will allow us to offer research opportunities to our new interns while also providing a unique experience in engaging with our colleagues in new and exciting ways.  Each intern will work through an adapted, but extensive curriculum designed to meet the same standards of previous Abternship programs.

Our Research Assistants use their data and analytical skills to tackle a broad spectrum of issues alongside Abt experts by coding, collecting, cleaning and managing quantitative data, or by performing statistical analysis, modeling or simulations. At the same time, they learn industry and best practices as they develop professional skills in qualitative and quantitative research methods, analytic reasoning, communication and project management.
