Building Strong Communities
Rwanda has made significant progress in reconciling communities after the 1994 genocide having come together to improve its health and economy beyond pre-1994 levels. The Abt Associates-led PMI VectorLink Project is working in partnership with the Rwandan government and its Ministry of Health to further advance the health and economic wellbeing of all Rwandans. Through safe, cost-effective and sustainable malaria vector control interventions, PMI VectorLink has protected hundreds of thousands of people from the burden of malaria, allowing them to live healthier, more productive lives.
