Abt Global' “Doctor Shopping” Paper Earns Award at Upcoming Scientific Meeting

A recent paper by Abt Global’s Douglas McDonald and Kenneth Carlson that analyzed geographic variations in prescription opioid abuse through “doctor shopping” has been selected as one of the best papers published in Pharmacoepidemiology and Drug Safety in 2014. 
 
McDonald and Carlson received a certificate carrying the designation of Honorable Mention during the 31st International Conference on Pharmacoepidemiology and Therapeutic Risk Management, held in Boston, Massachusetts August 23-26, 2015.
