Abt Wins Telly Award for SAMHSA National Prevention Week 2014 Promotional Video
Under the SAMHSA Center for Substance Abuse Prevention’s Health Communications and Marketing Support contract, the Abt Associates’ communications team won a 2015 Bronze Telly award for the animated video produced for SAMHSA's National Prevention Week, May 18-24, 2014. The Telly statuette has been a symbol of creative excellence for more than a quarter century. It is designed by the same firm that makes the Oscar® and Emmy®.
National Prevention Week is a SAMHSA-supported annual health observance dedicated to increasing public awareness of, and action around, substance abuse and mental health issues. This video introduced the theme for National Prevention Week 2014 — Our Lives. Our Health. Our Future. It encouraged communities and people of all ages to participate in the year's observance and to engage in activities to prevent alcohol, tobacco, and drug issues and promote mental health.
